VOLLEYBALL WINS REGIONAL TITLE

The fifth-ranked Roncalli girls volleyball team defeated top-ranked Yorktown last Saturday night to win the Class 4A Regional title at Greenfield-Central. Earlier in the day, Roncalli topped seventh-ranked Brownsburg in a comeback, five-set win in the regional semifinal, winning the final three sets after dropping the first two.

“I could not be prouder of the fight and grit these girls had throughout all nine sets today against two very talented teams,” said head coach Christina Erazmus. “We knew we had all the pieces, we just needed to put them together and we did at just the right time.”

The 2021 regional title is the program’s 13th overall and first since 2014. This year’s title is the program’s second regional title since moving to Class 4A in 2011. With two wins last weekend, the team raised its record to 28-5. Roncalli travels to Jasper to face 10th-ranked Castle (30-2) in Saturday’s semi-state (Oct. 30). The match is set for an approximate start time of 5:30 p.m., following the conclusion of the 2A Semi-State game. The semi-state winner will advance to the Class 4A state final on Saturday, November 6 at Worthen Arena on the campus of Ball State University.

2021 Roncalli Open House

We are so excited to be able to host the 2021 Roncalli Open House on campus! This year's event will take place on Thursday, November 4 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Both the Ascension St. Vincent and Bishop Chartrand gymnasiums will be set up to explore Roncalli. Check in at either location, and join us for a fun evening! Take a tour of the school, meet students and speak with faculty, staff & coaches. See what it's like to be a Roncalli Royal...we love it, and we know you will too! THANK YOU, Roncalli family, for your support of our walkathon! Due to the weather forecasts we are rescheduling the walk. We want our students to experience this event together.

With the delay of the walk, this gives our students the opportunity to meet their goals. We will continue to collect Walkathon donations in the Advancement Office and distribute t-shirts. Please see Mrs. Endris to turn in donations and collect t-shirts.

“HOLIDAY INN” TICKETS

Tickets for the musical, “Holiday Inn” are now available. The musical will be performed November 11 at 7:00 PM, November 12 at 6:00 PM and November 13 at 2:00 and 7:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased at roncalli.booktix.com. Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for Roncalli students and children 14 years old and younger.

CATHOLIC SPEAKER JASON EVERT

Roncalli is thrilled to host nationally known Catholic speaker Jason Evert. He is the founder of Totus Tuus Press and The Chastity Project. Jason will speak to all Roncalli students on Friday, November 5th after rescheduling from the 2020 school year. We will have a special schedule for the day and release school at 2:30 PM.

Sign up to work when YOU are available
Work as many events as YOU want
Receive an hourly rate ranging from $12-$25 depending on the event
Sign up as many family and friends as you like to work toward your student’s tuition
Work in premier venues with other Roncalli families

This program can really make a big impact on the amount of tuition a family has to pay. Some families work in the program to pay their entire tuition bill.

Through the years, we have proven to be very successful in helping families/students that are in need of transportation assistance(to and/or from school).

If your family is in need of assistance with transportation, please email Andi Baker or call 317-787-8277, ext. 221. Please provide her with the following details (your name, contact information, major crossroads near where you live and what your needs are (ride to school, home from school or both). We will make every effort to connect you with another RHS family that can assist with your transportation needs.
If your family/student is willing to assist other RHS families/students with a ride to school and/or home from school, please contact Andi Baker and provide her with the same information as noted in the first paragraph. This can be an excellent way for your family/student to benefit from some extra gas money.
