For a senior to have their picture included in the yearbook and class composite, they must get their picture taken with Prestige Photography. Many seniors completed their portraits, but those still needing to do so can click here to schedule an appointment at Roncalli on August 4th. A login code will be mailed to you from Prestige Photography (please note--you must use the most recent code. Old appointment codes for May appointments will not work). August 4th is the last opportunity to have portraits taken on campus, and there are limited appointments available. Those still needing portraits after August 4th will need to schedule an appointment at the portrait studio located at 2325 Pointe Parkway #140, Carmel, IN 46032. The yearbook choice deadline is 12/5/2021. No t-shirts with visible writings or logos, no hats, sunglasses or piercing are allowed for the yearbook photo. Gentlemen must wear a collared shirt and tie (jacket optional) and not have facial hair. Ladies must cover their shoulders and upper arms. If you have any questions, please contact John Hasty, Assistant Principal for Student Life.
A reminder that all students will have a school picture taken on the first day of school. This year, we are offering families an opportunity to go online at MyLifetouch.com and look at a variety of backgrounds and photo options. Families may also pay for school pictures online. This would prevent your student from having to bring an order form with payment on the first day of school. To order school photos online, or to just preview options, please use Picture Day Code EVTR3MHVH on the MyLifeTouch.com site. If you have any questions related to school pictures, please contact Assistant Principal for Student Life, John Hasty.
Please note that seniors will be in school uniform on the first day of school and will take a school picture for their student ID. Seniors still needing a portrait need to schedule an appointment with Prestige (see Senior Portraits for detailed instructions on scheduling).
Just a reminder that all students are expected to be in school uniform on the first day unless their parents are purchasing a picture package, or if they are a senior with a portrait appointment after school. If this is the case, the student may dress up. Absolutely, no jeans, denim or immodest dress allowed!!
Roncalli is enrolled in the National School Lunch Program here at Roncalli, you can receive free meals during the summer (Summer Food Service Program).

We are very appreciative of the great cooperation we received during the recently completed school year from our students and parents regarding the style of pants that were to be worn as a part of the school uniform.
It is important to note that we are the only Catholic high school in the Indianapolis area that does not require uniform pants of its students. While some students and parents would support a move to uniform pants, the overwhelming majority of students and parents prefer to purchase their school pants in a price range of their choice and at a retail store of their choice. We wish to continue to honor this desire, but it must happen in such a way that we are not consistently wasting valuable instructional time and administrative time dealing with fashion compliance issues.

Thus, we ask once again for the total support of our parents and students in making sure there is adherence to a specific style of pants (slacks) that will be allowed this school year. In accordance with the student handbook, the slacks must be dress slacks made of cotton-twill material similar to a pair of “Dockers” pants. Slacks must be minimum of "boot cut" and/or straight leg in diameter around the lower leg and may not be worn in a manner that hugs the complete contour of the lower body.
If you look at the visuals below, the three pictures on top illustrate acceptable choices while the three pictures on the bottom with an X through them are not acceptable choices.
Please direct all questions, concerns, and/or comments related to this matter to RHS Dean of Students, Tim Crissman.
Thanks in advance for your continued cooperation on this matter.
Roncalli stands against harassment/bullying of any sort. For obvious reasons, both biblical and Catholic, harassment/bullying violates our mandate not only to love one another, but in all circumstances to accept one another despite our differences. When these violations are expressed openly in language or behavior, they are reprehensible. Roncalli will not allow behavior that mocks, diminishes or impugns the dignity or integrity of any person or group. No racist, sexist or homophobic expression, language or behavior will be tolerated.
The good name, reputation and personal safety of each student, faculty, staff member and adult volunteer is vitally important. In order to protect students, employees, volunteers, and the school, each student is expected to treat the good name and reputation of other students, school employees, volunteers and the school with dignity and respect. Students will not engage in any activity or conduct, either on campus or off campus, that is in opposition to this guideline and/or inconsistent with the Catholic Christian principles of the school, as determined by the school in its discretion. Any derogatory, slanderous, hostile, or threatening remarks or actions directed toward any of the above by a student will be seen as a violation of this policy and will be viewed as a serious matter. An offending student may convey his bullying/harassment through a multitude of platforms including but not limited to: physical, verbal, sexual, retaliatory, or electronic means. Examples of electronic means include but are not limited to, email, social media, text messages, blogging, voice mails, images, pictures, videos, hashtags, etc. Any individual found to have made or participated with others in making such remarks or actions will be subject to disciplinary action by the school, up to and including expulsion.
Because of the significance of the issues of bullying/harassment in the lives of our students, Roncalli has in place a wide variety of strategies to address the issues. These strategies will unfold throughout the school year with a heavy focus here at the start of the school year.
It is imperative that anyone who becomes aware of a Roncalli student who is being bullied or harassed, regardless of whether it is happening in or out of school, is asked to contact the Dean of Students, an administrator, a counselor, or the social worker. Failure to report incidents of bullying/harassment makes one complicit with the inappropriate behavior. All reports about harassment/bullying/intimidation will be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. Any student found in violation of this policy will face serious disciplinary consequences up to and including expulsion.
Please reference the Roncalli High School Handbook Section 6.3.5 for additional details on our Policy regarding Harassment/Bullying.
