Roncalli High School extends a big Royal thank you to Fr. Bob Robeson for his work in serving as our school's interim president during the 2020-21 school year. Fr. Bob is a strong advocate for Catholic education and has a heart for kids! We are so grateful for his willingness to extend his ministry to Roncalli High School last year while still serving as pastor of Holy Name Catholic Church. A small "Thank You" reception was held for Fr. Bob in late June at which time a beautiful Roncalli Royals afghan was presented to him as a small token of our school's appreciation for his work and leadership. A special thank you to former Roncalli Theology teacher, Sr. Cathy Anne Lepore who made the beautiful afghan shown in the picture.
Congratulations to our Softball State Champions! We are proud of you!

For a senior to have their picture included in the yearbook and class composite, they must get their picture taken with Prestige Photography. Many seniors completed their portraits, but those still needing to do so can click here to schedule an appointment at Roncalli on August 4th. A login code will be mailed to you from Prestige Photography (please note--you must use the most recent code. Old appointment codes for May appointments will not work). August 4th is the last opportunity to have portraits taken on campus, and there are limited appointments available. Those still needing portraits after August 4th will need to schedule an appointment at the portrait studio located at 2325 Pointe Parkway #140, Carmel, IN 46032. The yearbook choice deadline is 12/5/2021. No t-shirts with visible writings or logos, no hats, sunglasses or piercing are allowed for the yearbook photo. Gentlemen must wear a collared shirt and tie (jacket optional) and not have facial hair. Ladies must cover their shoulders and upper arms. If you have any questions, please contact John Hasty, Assistant Principal for Student Life.
A reminder that all students will have a school picture taken on the first day of school. This year, we are offering families an opportunity to go online at MyLifetouch.com and look at a variety of backgrounds and photo options. Families may also pay for school pictures online. This would prevent your student from having to bring an order form with payment on the first day of school. To order school photos online, or to just preview options, please use Picture Day Code EVTR3MHVH on the MyLifeTouch.com site. If you have any questions related to school pictures, please contact Assistant Principal for Student Life, John Hasty.
Please note that seniors will be in school uniform on the first day of school and will take a school picture for their student ID. Seniors still needing a portrait need to schedule an appointment with Prestige (see Senior Portraits for detailed instructions on scheduling).
Just a reminder that all students are expected to be in school uniform on the first day unless their parents are purchasing a picture package, or if they are a senior with a portrait appointment after school. If this is the case, the student may dress up. Absolutely, no jeans, denim or immodest dress allowed!!
Roncalli is enrolled in the National School Lunch Program here at Roncalli, you can receive free meals during the summer (Summer Food Service Program).

CIEE and Roncalli are searching for a host family for Rong from China! He would arrive in early August and leave at the end of the school year. Rong is 16 and loves to play soccer, badminton, ping pong and likes to watch basketball and paint/draw. He lives with his parents and a younger sister. He plays the bass guitar and is on his school soccer team. Rong volunteers to plant trees and enjoys contributing to the environment. He intends to attend high school for one year (as a junior) then apply for a J1 to return to the states for all of high school and college. He wants a career in programming. Rong will arrive with his own insurance and spending money (including tuition).
For information on hosting Rong, please contact Janet Shaffer at (317) 372-8971. She will be happy to share program information & answer any questions!
We are very appreciative of the great cooperation we received during the recently completed school year from our students and parents regarding the style of pants that were to be worn as a part of the school uniform.
It is important to note that we are the only Catholic high school in the Indianapolis area that does not require uniform pants of its students. While some students and parents would support a move to uniform pants, the overwhelming majority of students and parents prefer to purchase their school pants in a price range of their choice and at a retail store of their choice. We wish to continue to honor this desire, but it must happen in such a way that we are not consistently wasting valuable instructional time and administrative time dealing with fashion compliance issues.
Thus, we ask once again for the total support of our parents and students in making sure there is adherence to a specific style of pants (slacks) that will be allowed this school year. In accordance with the student handbook, the slacks must be dress slacks made of cotton-twill material similar to a pair of “Dockers” pants. Slacks must be minimum of "boot cut" and/or straight leg in diameter around the lower leg and may not be worn in a manner that hugs the complete contour of the lower body.
If you look at the visuals below, the three pictures on top illustrate acceptable choices while the three pictures on the bottom with an X through them are not acceptable choices.
Please direct all questions, concerns, and/or comments related to this matter to RHS Dean of Students, Tim Crissman.
Thanks in advance for your continued cooperation on this matter.
A los padres/tutores: Vacunas para el año escolar 2021-22
The Indiana State Department of Health and Department of Education has mandatory immunizations for every student enrolled in an Indiana school. Roncalli High School must follow these requirements to stay in compliance; even if a physicians’ immunization and dosing schedules show more flexibility.

If your child has not received these, please make arrangements to get these vaccines and forward proof of immunization. County Health Departments can assist with these vaccinations.
