The Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Honor is given to a senior who demonstrates the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. This honoree is selected by Roncalli faculty and staff early in their senior year and may then submit an essay for a scholarship competition. This year, Claire Wagner won the competition! Congratulations, Claire!
Congratulations to junior Will Morse who is one of the winners selected in the Serra Club of Indianapolis 2021 John D. Kelley Vocations Essay Contest! Morse and his parents are invited to an awards luncheon recognizing his achievement. He and the other winners will read their essays, receive a plaque and a cash prize. We are proud of you, Will!

The family and friends of Katie Lynch have once again organized the Katie's 5K Run/Walk for Hope to honor Katie's courageous battle with cancer. The event will be held on Sunday May 16, 2021 at Roncalli HS. Registration begins at 12:30 with the Walk to begin at 2:00. Proceeds go to help fund numerous scholarships as well as making the wishes of sick children come true.
This is the 10th anniversary of Katie's passing and we would like to make this the biggest event we have ever had! Please pass the word and register at katieshope.org by May 1, 2021 in order to be guaranteed a tshirt. The entry fee is $25/adults, $15/students and $100/family. There will be a picnic with food and games to follow in the St. Jude Pavilion area. We hope that you will join us to live, laugh and love as we celebrate Katie's legacy.

Today marks the halfway point of the fourth quarter grading period. Parents are strongly encouraged to check their child's grades and contact any teacher(s) for whom there are questions or concerns. Parents may also reach out to their child's school counselor if they have questions, concerns or just want to check in with them.

How can I be sure the text on my brick will be correct?
When you order your brick, you will receive an acknowledgment letter that includes a verification of the engraved text. If something is spelled or listed incorrectly, please contact the Advancement Office at 317-787-8277 ext. 238 and make corrections within two weeks of receipt.

A los padres/tutores: Vacunas para el año escolar 2021-22
The Indiana State Department of Health and Department of Education has mandatory immunizations for every student enrolled in an Indiana school. Roncalli High School must follow these requirements to stay in compliance; even if a physicians’ immunization and dosing schedules show more flexibility.
Immunization requirements for 2021-22 require all high school students to have 2 Hepatitis A vaccines, administered a minimum 6 months apart.
Also 2 Meningitis MCV4 vaccines are required for Class of 2022 prior to the start of their senior year.
If your child has not received these, please make arrangements to get these vaccines and forward proof of immunization. County Health Departments can assist with these vaccinations.
