The full financial impact of COVID-19 has yet to be felt by many of our families, but we are well aware of the impending difficulties a significant number of our families may incur. In the face of this upcoming financial stress to our community we will soon be forthcoming with a timeline, fundraising, and additional assistance, specifically earmarked for the anticipated increase in the need for financial assistance. We will continue to work with families on adjusting tuition payment schedules if needed as well.

We have been asked if tuition payments are still being processed if mailed into Roncalli. The Business Office is working to process tuition payments weekly. Checks, money orders, and tuition coupons with credit card information can still be mailed to the school as we are picking up the mail directly from the post office. If an account balance is needed please email Barb Hatfield.
Roncalli High School extends an invitation to any registered nurse to volunteer at the school one morning each week. If interested please email principal Chuck Weisenbach.

As clarity from federal, state, local, and Archdiocesan guidelines emerge for the upcoming school year, we plan to evaluate the possibility of rescheduling Grandparent’s Day for the 2020-2021 school year. We had previously taken steps to announce that our Grandparent’s Day that was scheduled for September 4, 2020 was cancelled due to the vulnerability of our grandparents' health during COVID 19. With so many unknowns related to how schools and other organizations will be able to accommodate large gatherings in a manner consistent with public health recommendations, we will postpone Grandparent’s Day at this time and look for a date later in the school year.

Once more clarity emerges related to gatherings like school assemblies and other large community events, the leadership team at Roncalli will evaluate whether or not it may be possible to preserve the opportunity to safely celebrate this cherished Roncalli Family tradition. Let’s ask God to bless our continuing efforts to be together as an extended family once again!

We are very appreciative of the great cooperation we received during the recently completed school year from our students and parents regarding the style of pants that were to be worn as a part of the school uniform.
It is important to note that we are the only Catholic high school in the Indianapolis area that does not require uniform pants of its students. While some students and parents would support a move to uniform pants, the overwhelming majority of students and parents prefer to purchase their school pants in a price range of their choice and at a retail store of their choice. We wish to continue to honor this desire, but it must happen in such a way that we are not consistently wasting valuable instructional time and administrative time dealing with fashion compliance issues.
Thus, we ask once again for the total support of our parents and students in making sure there is adherence to specific style of pants (slacks) that will be allowed this school year. In accordance with the student handbook, the slacks must be dress slacks made of cotton-twill material similar to a pair of “Dockers” pants. Slacks must be minimum of "boot cut" and/or straight leg in diameter around the lower leg and may not be worn in a manner that hugs the complete contour of the lower body.
If you look at the visuals below, the three pictures on top illustrate acceptable choices while the three pictures on the bottom with an X through them are not acceptable choices.
Please direct all questions, concerns, and/or comments related to this matter to Dean of Students, Tim Crissman.
Thanks in advance for your continued cooperation on this matter.
The NHS cords are usually ordered after we return from spring break, but due to the circumstances of this year, there was not an efficient way to process the orders and collect the money from each family. If you would like to order one on your own, please use the link at the end of this announcement. Be sure to order the royal, gold, and white cord. Contact Erin Bohn with any questions.
