Congratulations to three of our seniors who swept the top three awards in this year’s National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) competition. First place winner in the central Indiana region went to Carson Rearick, with a prize of $500. Second place winner was Juan Xochitlatoa winning $300, and third place went to Owen Herndon winning $200. Carson’s drawings now move on for judging in the Great Lakes regional competition which will be held in a couple of weeks. The class was asked to design and come up with the working drawings of an activity/memorial building on the shores of Lake Erie which featured a World War II submarine docked in front of the structure. The architects who judged the entries said that they were exceptional for high school students. “This is an outstanding group of seniors and it made me very proud to have been associated with them,” said James Ratliff.

Congratulations to our March students of the month! We wish we could celebrate you at school. We are proud of you and your hard work!

It continues to be a sad reality that our students, teachers, staff members and families cannot come to Roncalli and be at school! We have had groups of students wanting to congregate at school in our parking lots. While we are sincerely touched by their desire to be on campus and we know they truly want to be "back at Roncalli," we are not allowed to have gatherings of students on campus. Our security officers have asked students to please refrain from gathering at Roncalli. Thank you to all for your understanding and assistance.

A huge thank you to all of our students, parents, teachers and counselors for their continued excellent work with our E-learning format. A reminder to reach out to your teachers when you are struggling, need help or just want to say hello and thank them!

Also, a reminder that our school counselors, social worker and chaplain all remain very active in supporting our students. Parents, students and teachers should not hesitate to reach out to them if the need or desire exists. "Life Prep Wednesday" - Next week's "Life Prep Wednesday" is a Family Day! We encourage all families to plan some type of fun family activity. Please send pictures of your family's activity to Allie Ross in our Advancement Office for posting on social media.

Keep up the great work Rebels!! May is around the corner and the finish line is in sight!
