RETIREMENT RECEPTION FOR TIM PUNTARELLI - FRIDAY, MAY 10

Tim Puntarelli Retiring

Tim Puntarelli is retiring at the end of this school year after 40 years of service to Roncalli, 29 years of those as Dean of Students. During those 40 years, Tim also taught in the English and Theology Departments, was an assistant coach in our football program and worked numerous senior Christian Awakening Retreats. Roncalli High School will hold a reception in his honor on Friday, May 10 from 3:15 – 5:00 PM in the RHS Media Center. All are invited to stop in and extend your own personal thanks and appreciation to Tim. If you are unable to attend, cards or notes of appreciation may be sent to the high school to his attention.

RHS principal Chuck Weisenbach, commented on Tim's work through the years. "Tim has been the ultimate in terms of being a compassionate leader and molder of young people! I marvel at how many kids who were frequent fliers to the Dean's Office during their days as a student at Roncalli come back in the years following graduation to share a conversation with him. He is respected by students, peers and parents as being a caring, fair administrator who advocated for all kids, including those that misstepped on occasion."
