Roncalli is so proud of our wrestlers and coaches that competed in the 2019 IHSAA State Finals last weekend! The Rebels qualified five State Finalists, and four of them earned State Medals tying the school record set in 2018. Roncalli finished 6th Place in the Team Race, with a program record 53 points. 6th Place is the best team finish since 2011. Roncalli also broke a school record by advancing four wrestlers to the Semi-Finals of the state tournament in the same year.

Roncalli High School works with local law enforcement officials continuously reviewing and updating our Emergency Preparedness Plan based on best practices learned from school experiences all across the country. Law enforcement has shared with us that a review of some school shootings shows that they have taken place during the time period in the morning prior to the start of school when students, teachers and staff are arriving on campus and entering the school. They (law enforcement) have recommended that we collect student cell phone numbers so that we can communicate directly with students if an emergency situation exists in the time period leading up to the start of school when we may have students in the parking lot, driving into school, etc.
NOTE: The school's only use of these numbers will be for emergency notification.
In the coming weeks, we are going to begin collecting students' cell phone numbers. Please notify Linda Simpkins in our IT department if you as parents do not wish for Roncalli to have your child's cell phone number.

Roncalli High School is pleased to offer several scholarships to students currently in grades 9-11 and a few scholarships for current seniors. The eligibility criteria and amount for each scholarship varies from $250-$1,500. All completed applications should be returned to Mr. Banich, Assistant Principal for Student Life, by Monday, April 1 no later than 3:00 PM. The selection process for each scholarship will be determined by the selection committee of each award. The presentation of most of these scholarships will take place at the spring Academic Honors Banquet. The scholarship monies would then be applied to the 2019-2020 tuition unless this is an award for a senior. Any questions regarding RHS scholarships can be directed to Kevin Banich, Assistant Principal for Student Life, at 787-8277 Ext. 284.
Romans 12:1-2 states, "I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, your spiritual worship. Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect." In following the message of scripture, we aspire to honor God in everything we do, including our modest and dignified dress code at all school functions. The following requirements are the guidelines to ensure that every student dresses in a way to show the true beauty of the person.
Any student that is violating the policy will not be allowed into the event until his/her attire meets the proper requirements.
If a male has a question about appropriate attire, they must seek input and advice from Mr. Banich. If a female has a question about a dress, they must talk with either Mrs. Bohn or Mrs. Armbruster before purchasing their attire.
