Four of our juniors have been named Indiana "Rising Stars" in the most recent publication of the Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP). Ryan Flick, Andrew Gangstad, William Hawkins and Grace Whitaker were selected from among the class of 2020 for this honor based on a combination of academic achievement, standardized test score results, and school/community involvement. In addition to receiving a certificate from the IASP, these students will be made known to potential future college choices in Indiana. Congratulations!

We as a school have entered a time of preparation, along with the Church as a whole, for the coming of our Savior. The Student Council has teamed up with Campus Ministry to help prepare for this season. Each class has taken a week leading up to our break and used a theme to shape some activities to help focus us on this time of preparation. The themes will be Hope, Joy, Peace and Love.
Please join us in this Advent season as we prepare ourselves for the coming of our Savior. Keep these themes of Hope, Joy, Peace and Love on your minds and in your prayers through this season. Click here to access scriptures and prayers for each week, as well as what we're doing in the halls of Roncalli. We should all work to prepare, as Matthew 24:44 tells us "So too, you also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come."
The Roncalli Parents Organization (RPO) invites you to join us on Friday, January 18th between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM in the Roncalli cafeteria for a delicious meal. As the first half of the school year comes to a close, we would like to remind all families that you may apply for free or reduced priced meals for your student at any time during the school year. If you have not applied this year, you may still do so. If your income or household size has changed, you may apply. We would also like to encourage all families to please pay off outstanding lunch balances before the last lunch of the calendar year which is next Tuesday, December 18. Start 2019 fresh with no outstanding meal debt. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all the cafeteria staff!
